I got to read this book by pure chance and I didn't know what to expect. But when I started to read I just couldn't stop. Not only because it's written in a language I could understand, but most importantly because I was getting more and more scared with each passing page.I was getting scared because I realized that I'm making the mistakes Robert talks about in the book with my own money.
In The Million Dollar Decision I got many answers to the question "How I'm losing my hard earned money". The book gave me a new perspective on my finances.
I think that it should be read by everyone at least once.
It's a real shame that the author didn't write this book 5 or 10 years ago. If he did, my financial situation now would be quite different.

This book is certainly a MUST-READ book for EVERYONE - for those who think about saving some money for old age, or for serious investors. Not only it is written in a plain and understandable language, it is rather funny too. But the content... Not funny at all! I was horrified to learn what is going on in financial industry, and how they steal our money right out of our pocket. Yes, I was fooled too, and as author I'm still paying for the decision to place my trust in financial industry. But how could I know better? Nobody taught me these things.
Up to now, that is. This book is exposing the ugly game financial industry is playing with us and our money. It teaches us how to prevent financial headaches, but it goes even further. It gives you tools to win the financial game of life. Surely I will use them.
I attended few Robert's seminar, and he is definitely the guy who knows's what he is talking. I'm amazed about his decision to help the world learn about investing in this Million dollar decision book. One of the best things I like in the book is authors transparency and honesty about reality that is happening in the financial industry. It doesn't matter if you are already investor or want to become one, this book will save you a lot of money and time.
I attended Rober Rolih's webinar just before the release of the book and while it was informative and interesting I still had doubts. After a while I decided to get the book anyway and am really glad I did. It was easy to read and understand. Before reading it I had no clue about investing at all so I learned quite a bit. I particularly liked the "Real ROI". Great book to get if you're starting with learning about investing and probably if you're somewhat seasoned already too.
The takeaway from this book could fit on one page. The author seems to be using the same tactics he abhors in financial advisors to make money by selling this book. IMHO, the Bogglehead book on investing is way more sincere and professionally done.
I have been listening to several courses of this gentleman in our country. After reading this book I can only say, it is writen soooooo well that even a completely financially illiterate person (as me) can gain a valuable, easy understandable and immediately implemetable knowledge. Of course, the results will have to remain to be seen.
I do recommend this book, as it is a lesson 101 in financial growth of your assets.

Everyone must know that business is not just about success and money but it's also filled with obstacles and loses. Robert teaches us through his experience how to overcome those obstacles and how to be persistent. He tells us what didn't work and how he found a solution. He backs up his decisions with professional arguments. The book is a must read for people wanting to educate themselves in the filed of finances. I also recommend all his lectures.
